Gfinity announce first 4 in Elite Series

Gfinity have revealed the first four organisations to fill the spots in their new Elite Series. These four UK based organisations have been given ground floor access to what is set out to the be proving ground for UK players who want to push their gameplay to the next level. Alongside Counter Stike:Global Offensive, Rocket League and Street Fighter V will be part of the Elite Series giving a wide spread of gaming genres.

UK Masters reaches playoffs

UK Masters Season 3, or Spring 2017 as they like to call it, has reached its final pre-lan stages – the playoffs. The top four teams from the weekly round-robin have qualified for the playoff stages of the UK Masters Spring season which is set to take place on April 1st/2nd. This best-of-three double elimination playoff will finish with just two teams left standing to compete at the live stage finals at Insomnia60 later that month.

UKCSGO Present: ASTRO Cup

UKCSGO is teaming up with ASTRO Gaming to bring you a 64 team single elimination tournament with a prize pool of 5 ASTRO A40 headsets and 10,000 FaceIT points. The tournament is a best-of-one single elimination tournament but with a best-of-three final. The best-of-three finals is only made possible due to the great support from FaceIT, tying our tournament into their development platform where they are currently working on best-of-three tournaments.

UKGT: The qualified teams.

The online stages of UKGT came to an anticlimactic close as Impulse Gaming chose to default their three outstanding games, becoming the 4th team to drop out of the tournament alongside uFrag, Rasta Gaming and exceL.

Top of the table is Endpoint, who were technically undefeated throughout the tournament. They picked up one draw against Impulse Gaming at the start of week 3, and then chose to forfeit their game against Barrage eSports in the final week as it wouldn’t effect the final standings for any team.
