The third and final match of Friday between VATIC Gaming & Radix eSports were to be played on Dust 2, Cache and Mirage being the final map.
Radix seeded 8th and as for VATIC Gaming being seeded 1st both playing to claim the spot in the Upper Semi-Finals. The loser of this game will see the Lower Semi-Finals at EpicLAN tomorrow at 11am.
Map 1 – Dust 2:
A match-up between Radix eSports & VATIC Gaming ends in a heated confrontation going in the favour of Radix eSports closing out the first map 25-22. Dust 2 being the first map of choice in the BO3 in the series, both sides evenly matched with each round coming down to the line. Throughout the first map, the key individual which carried Radix eSports to victory was Smooya who managed to reach over 50 frags during the entire course of the match, following  his successes the remaining Radix lineup close out the game in an intense OT battle finishing map 1 25-22.
Map 2 – Cache:
Heading onto Cache for the second map of the series Radix eSports take to the CT side, with Radix only needing one more map to take the BO3 series they win  the pistol round and claim a set of rounds bringing them to the scoreline of 8-0, before VATIC Gaming finally manage to claw their first round and begin to make their way back into the game. As soon as their first round victory comes through Radix claim back another round ruining the VATIC economy. VATIC standing no chance against the plays of the Radix eSports players all individually performing shutting down VATIC across the entire map. Radix shortly clutch out 2 rounds after a series of rounds bringing it down to the line making it a 14-1 half completely dominating VATIC.
The pistol round goes into the favour of VATIC Gaming after Logzi catches out 2 players leaving it in a 3v1 for Smooya but being taken down giving the first round of the half to VATIC. After VATIC have a lifeline back into the game Radix shut them down with a force up bringing the map to match point and series point, looking to close out the game Radix shut down all the B site players winning the round and claiming map 2 winning the series 2-0.
Final Result:
Finalising the series and day 2 of EpicLAN Radix eSports take the series 2-0 against VATIC Gaming advancing onto the Upper Semi-Finals to play against DOG Gaming on Saturday. As for VATIC after a close first map on Dust 2 but then getting humiliated 16-2 on Cache drop down into the Lower Semi-Finals where they will play against Rasta Gaming.
