Riot Gaming pick up Millwall BushWackers

by Archive

Riot Gaming recently announced that they have picked up Millwall Bushwackers after the team successfully qualified for the Multiplay UK Masters. It took the Millwall Bushwackers all four qualifiers before they claimed their spot in the enlarged “Clutch or Kick qualifier”, where they found themselves overcoming some well known names and tough opponents along their way.

From the announcement on their website, it appears that i58 is on their radar no matter the outcome of the UK Masters, where they’ll be aiming to prove their skill more on the scene.

They wrote:

Formally known as the ‘’Millwall BushWackers’’ this team and their reputations have grown exponentially in the past 3 months as they have found their rhythm in the UK Scene after the biggest and most recent achievement of qualifying for the UK CS:GO Masters.

Here at Riot Gaming we feel that with the mutual efforts of both our roster and the efforts of the Riot Gaming management team combined is going to the difference when it comes to competing this year in the Masters and this August at Insomnia 58 at the N.E.C in Birmingham.

The new Riot Gaming lineup is:

Ernst “Wong” Wong
Preston “Prezzy” Leigh
Jake “Velox” Bond
Cameron “Shanked” Anderson
Alex “PG” Camilar

Preston “Prezzy” Leigh sums up the team’s progression over the last few months perfectly, as this team feels like it has gone from 0 to 60 in no time at all, beating more and more notable teams as time goes on. He told Riot Gaming:

Riot Gaming is a great opportunity for me and my team. This gives us the support we need to prove our recent success is not an accident, but proof that we’re ready to break into the UK and potentially the EU scene. Over the last few months our roster have achieved notable wins over established teams. This is only the start. Riot Gaming are now ready to support us for the upcoming i58 LAN, where I’m sure we’ll prove to them why their trust in us is not misplaced.
