The Captains for the first UKCSGO County Champs have been chosen. We have looked at everyone who signed up to be a captain, and all players registered so far and selected captains for counties that have a high chance of being able to create a team. We also decided to have one captain for the whole of Scotland and one for Wales as splitting them up more could cause some difficulty in creating teams. On the flipside, London has a very high-interest level so we have appointed 3 captains for that area.
To help the captains out, we will be collating all the information from the player register and displaying it in a far more useful manner. The player register will remain open so if you haven’t already, head on over and fill it in.

If you feel that your county has the potential for a team and you want to lead it, then let us know and we can add you. The best way to get hold of me is via the UKCSGO Steam Group, just look for Blanks.

how comes there isn’t a north east team? I’m sure I seen more then 5 sign up?
It was done based on people signing up for captains, rather than 5 people being from that area. If no one from an area put their name down for a captain spot then the county wasn’t picked. If you want to make a team for your county though let us know and we can add you to the list.

Why are there counties who have more than 5 members not available to play in? Especially when one has signed up as a captain?
Which county do you think has a captain who wasn’t selected? We are adding new captains daily so if your county is missing speak up and claim it 🙂

Can we have a Glasgow team and an Edinburgh team instead of just a Scotland team? We nearly have enough people from Glasgow to make 2 teams so it shouldn’t be a problem finding players. I can be captain if no one else has put their name forward.
Not everyone that lives in Scotland is from Glasgow/Edinburgh like me and I am really wanting to play but I mean I totally agree that we should have 2 Scottish teams.
