News has come to light that both of CeX’s non-UK players, Simon “cleMeNz0” Jensen and Philipp “osirisbash” Kaczmarczyk, have left the organisation for (as of yet) unclear reasons. The EPS side, which had it’s core finishing in the top 4 of last season, under exceL eSports and EZSKINS, recently announced their move with the UK second-hand gaming retailer.
The rumours first came to light just before i55 when both of the players were missing from the team, with Jonathan “SHEEKEY” Sheekey and Victor “mvicK” Meulendijks being brought into replace the missing two. These rumours were then solidified when both players were missing from their EPS game the day after, with Victor “mvicK” Meulendijks seemingly returning to the team and Tom “vertiGo” Rockliffe standing-in for that game. The news was all but confirmed by news that Philipp “osirisbash” Kaczmarczyk had joined a new team that is looking to take part in the German EPS.This currently leaves the team with four players, and we’re currently unsure of who they will use to replace. Their current line-up is:
- Andrew “AndrewIsGod” Thursfield
- Andrew “resu” Robson
- Henry “chron1c” Thornton
- Victor “mvicK” Meulendijks
We’ll tell you more as soon as we know.
