This weekend, epic.SIXTEEN will be taking place at Kettering Conference Centre, with 300 players heading to Kettering to participate in a wide variety of activities. This LAN whilst being the quietest event of the three this year, will boast things like live DJ sets, eSport tournaments including CS:GO, fun tournaments, pub quiz, fancy dress, jackbox party games on the big screen. Just over 16 teams will be descending onto Kettering, for CS:GO and this is set to be the most intriguing tournament at epic.LAN for a while.
epic.LAN recently announced it’s casting line up for all it’s tournaments at the event, and we will have a short preview from one of our writers here at UKCSGO.com going over some of the heavy hitters at epic.SIXTEEN this weekend, so make sure you keep an eye out for that in the coming days.

A total of 16 teams (the biggest CS related attendance at an epic.LAN event) will be in attendance over the weekend which is really good to see. The prize pool will be set (based on current figure vs trigger) at £1,500, (there are still 54 tickets up for grabs for anyone who does want to come along). There is plenty of space so make sure you head on down and help give a good account for the UK CS:GO Scene.
For those of you heading to the event this weekend, make sure your team is complete on the Tournament Website. Throughout the weekend epic.LAN will have GOTVs for people to watch their favoured teams and a stream with some notable UK casters. In addition to the normal in game stream, there will also be a dedicated event stream which will feature all kinds of things ranging from team & player interviews, pre-game and post game analysis, and all the community fun events including some of the “fun tournaments” played at epic.LAN and the Pub Quiz. There should be some cracking stuff this weekend, so make sure you tune in through all the various ways you can.
