We are down to the final 2 teams at epicSIXTEEN, Team Infused and Reason Gaming, who will be battling for first place.
Team Infused had a restful night after finishing their last game around midnight last night, beating Choke Gaming 2-1 and knocking them down to the lower bracket. Reason however didn’t finish their lower bracket semi-finals game against Perilous.CSGOBolt.com till near 3am giving them not a lot of downtime before starting their lower bracket final game against Choke.
The first map was de_inferno and Choke came out the gates looking comfortable stacking up some vital CT side rounds but Reason came back fighting and managed to pull back some rounds and finishing the half with 6 Terrorist. Coming into the second half Reason didn’t give Choke much room to build up an economy and managed to secure map one 16-12.
de_cache was the final map in this best of three, a map we have seen Reason perform well on previously in this event. No sooner than Choke Gaming got some momentum up, Reason would return fire and shut Choke down. Final score, 16-9, 2-0 in maps, and Reason secure their spot in the grand finals against Team Infused.
