According to a report from 1pv, GamerLegion are interested in signing Sebastian “volt” Malos from Into the Breach as well as ECSTATIC’s Marcus “maNkz” Kjeldsen. Into the Breach made history at the BLAST.tv Paris Major when they made the playoffs and defied everybody’s expectations. volt, who was a huge part of that run, has now received interest from the other underdog who had a spectacular showing in Paris.
UKCSGO’s sources close to the situation have told us that Into the Breach are fighting tooth and nail to keep volt on the roster. The British organisation have offered an improved contract for the young rifler in response, but GamerLegion may be willing to break the bank and offer him a contract that ITB cannot compete with. This is in-line with Guillaume “neL” Rathier’s report, as he spoke to Into the Breach who made it clear they would “do everything we can possible to keep [volt] here.”
With Into the Breach establishing themselves as a great young-core after the Paris Major there was sure to be a lot of interest in their roster, however this is the first serious offer that they have received for their players.
The report from 1pv also stated that Into the Breach have begun looking at replacements in-case they are unable to retain volt. These replacements include François “AMANEK” Delaunay and Adam “NEOFRAG” Zouhar, the latter of which would fit perfectly in volt‘s current roles.
Into the Breach are currently:
Thomas “Thomas” Utting
Sebastian “volt” Malos
Cai “CYPHER” Watson
Karol “rallen” Rodowicz
Joey “CRUC1AL” Steusel
Gustavo “juve” Alexandre (Coach)
