Viperio hasn’t had the easiest return to UKCS. At the start of the month they signed a team already looking for one player, and within hours of the contracts being signed, they were looking for two. However, as we enter the new year, Viperio have re-filled their roster with Kim “mAnGo” Larsen on the AWP and Jan “pandi7o” Holák as their anchor. These two will be replacing Slaven “AwaykeN” Lyubenov who joined 7AM and Arkadiusz “ifan” Dabkowski who was dropped.
This does mean that Viperio will not have a UK core, but UKCSGO understands they will still play UK events such as UKIC with Rory “cryths” Ursell replacing pandi7o and Nordic qualifiers events with a Danish stand-in.
Even though pandi7o is from a different region and most people in the UK sphere won’t recognise his name, he actually used to play with Rasmus “zodi” Frølich and Daniel “papp” Hart back in 2021 on Mousplayz. Most recently the youngster has won a LAN in Switzerland with mYinsanity boasting a 1.36 HLTV rating and has experience playing on LAN with Entropiq Future.
mAnGo comes over from Masonic, a Danish organisation with a reputation for building young players. The issue was, he got picked up and put as a rifler. The 21-year-old was attracting attention with his stats as a sniper in the lower leagues of Dust2.dk Ligaen, but then was put in the rifler role as the Danes already had Kristoffer “Kristou” Aamand. So naturally his stats don’t look the best, but you can understand why. Fortunately for the youngster, on Viperio he will be utilised in his right role.
UKCSGO understands there was an enormous amount of interest from players to join Viperio when they announced they would be looking for two. So much so that coach papp had to delete his tweet because he was receiving so many messages. Even though these two are not the most proven individuals, they are young with pandi7o especially being just 18 years of age, and have a lot of potential to grow with this already growing team under the support of experienced players such as Marco “MMS” Salomone.
UKCSGO reached out to coach papp on their new pickups:
I’m delighted with the additions of mAnGo and pandi7o to the team. They both have a very high skill ceiling and will only continue to improve.
I fully believe they have the qualities to help us move forward to achieve our goals to be more successful within the EU Scene.
Viperio will enter the new year as such:
Rasmus “zodi” Frølich
Reegan “ReegaN” Ward
Marco “MMS” Salomone
Kim “mAnGo” Larsen
Jan “pandi7o” Holák
Daniel “papp” Hart (coach)
