February is the month where UK CS is all go, it seems. In addition to UKIC League Season 1 and the ever-popular EPIC.41, we now have yet another tournament aimed at the UK scene as Tradeit.gg have announced the 16-team Tradeit Masters.
It boasts all the big names you would expect from UK CS including K10, Verdant, Viperio, Team Coalesce and Team 7AM. There’s also the likes of Team Invictum, Souls Land and The Last Resort, plus a handful of mixes including Royals, Part-Timers and REDACTED. In fact the tournament includes almost the entire UKCSGO top 16, with the notable exception of Endpoint.
The format is single-elimination best-of-three for all games, meaning a total of four rounds of games will be played. It’s a relatively short event, which probably explains why many of the teams have signed up – little to lose and plenty to gain. One other notable fact is that the grand final will be played on LAN at a date and location yet to be announced, with travel and accommodation covered for the players.
The prize pool is a mixture of cash and skins, with the winners taking home £500 in cash plus the equivalent value of skins from organiser Tradeit.gg. There’s then £250 in skins for second place, and £75 in skins for the event’s MVP.Â
