Team Valor have returned to full strength… almost. The UK squad has signed Connor “Finui” Finucane from Synical, after losing their fifth WaZz to the Romanian team Aimclub.
Valor could have gone for another international signing to round out their roster, as they already have Alex “Byfield” Byfield, Jared “Jared” Delaney, and Mox all repping the red, white and blue union flag; however, they turned back to their own country to fill the final spot.

This would have completed the team, but Byfield announced on X that they are looking for another player, as one of their players is on trial in an academy team and might be leaving them.
Finui is typically known for being an in-game leader, captaining teams like Belfast Storm and Synical. This go around, Finui will be leaving the reigns behind as he joins Valor as a rifler. Mox will continue to lead as he has done since this roster came together.
As captain of Belfast Storm and Synical, Finui led different rosters to decent success in recent times. Making it all the way to the finals of two different iterations of UKIC Division 1 in both season 6 and season 4. Unfortunately for Finui, in both finals, he came up against Tom “arTisT” Clarke and company; this match-up ended the same both times as Finui’s teams were unsuccessful on both occasions.
The core of Valor, on the other hand, is yet to taste the success of reaching a UKIC final; in fact, due to unfortunate circumstances surrounding player availability during the qualifiers, Valor didn’t qualify for the new top division of the UK Circuit, UKIC Masters. Valor is taking the long way round to get to UKIC Masters’ next iteration, by playing in UKIC Challengers, the fully open UKIC event.
Byfield: “Next [UKIC] season, they’re not going to be ready for the level that I will show”
This longer journey to the top is not without its fruit. Valor currently sits unbeaten at the top of Challengers. Not only are they unbeaten, but they’re the only team left yet to lose in their group as they finish the regular season 11-0. As of now, they are the only team across the four groups in UKIC Challengers who have ended with a flawless season.
Team Valor are now:
Tom “Mox” Watson
Alex “Byfield” Byfield
Jared “Jared” Delaney
Connor “Finui” Finucane
