Here at Gfinity, we saw the final semi-finals of the day with Tempo Storm playing the struggling polish team of Virtus Pro! In the first game, we saw nothing out of the ordinary based off the rest of the tournament with the Brazilians again relying on their MVP of this event Felps to control their CT half and help them go into the 2nd half with a 10-5 lead. On the polish side, we saw TaZ, who by his standards has had a poor event, step it up in the 2nd half along with Byali but shamefully it wasn’t enough to close out the Brazilians with them winning 16-9 and Felps finishing out the game with 26 kills!
Going into the 2nd map, both the analyst desk alongside the casters thought Virtus Pro would be taking control of this map with it being one of their best, Train. Going into the map, we saw Tempo yet again start on the Counter Terrorist side and what a CT side it was. We saw Tempo get an amazing 12-3 finish the first half and the guys who we were all watching to perform in this game, Hen1 and Felps, Both did. Even though we eventually saw Virtus Pro fall 16-7 with Tempo Storm overcoming their difficulties of closing out games, we saw Pasha, who has had a lot of issues in the past few months, step up massively and drop 23 kills, more than anyone on the server.

Going into the third map and the deciding map, we saw Virtus pro going onto Inferno which in the past has been a mixture of emotions for the Polish team with a variety of positive and negative results. With Virtus Pro starting on the counter-terrorist side, we saw an absolute domination via the poles with a 13-2 to half in favour of Virtus Pro with Byali and Snax going ham. Going into the 2nd half of the map, we saw nothing different from the CT half with Virtus picking up the pistol and continuing the pressure by finishing out the game 16-4.
Next map ends up being Cache, a map Virtus Pro is known for playing to a high standard and it was shown today here in London. Going into the end of the first half of Cache, we saw that the half played out very standard to what we have been expecting on Cache with a 9-6 scoreline. After this, this is when all of the Tempo Storm fans got worried, this is because Virtus Pro dominated after Tempo winning the pistol and won 16-13 after being 12-6 down. In this game, we saw all of Virtus Pro stepping up and contesting Tempo with everyone dropping above 20 kills, something we didn’t see from Virtus Pro this event.

The last and personally, the most exciting map, Mirage. On the Counter Terrorist, we saw an outstanding performance from both the whole team of Tempo Storm and yes, Felps. Felps was consistently preventing Virtus Pro storming their way into the bomb site and from a personal perspective, was the reason why they finished with an amazing scoreline of 12-3. Shortly after this, the experience of Virtus Pro on this map and in clutch situations came into count and we saw a perfect run of 9 rounds straight on the counter-terrorist side, but eventually, we saw Tempo Storm overcomes their issues from the past two maps and moves onto the CEVO Finals with the map finish 16-11 and 3-2 in total.
Tomorrow at 3:30pm, we will see the Danish team of SK gaming and the Brazilians from Tempo Storm battle in a Best of 5 here at the Gfinity Arena!
