With the two UK Masters Season two finalists securing spots past the group stages, their final is in wait. It’s Endpoint up against FM-eSports. With Endpoint taking themselves through the Upper Bracket of the online tournament, they start the match-up off with the one map advantage. This gave Endpoint a 1-0 in the ensuing Bo5 match. First place nets you £7,000, whereas second is a cool £4,000.

Nuke
Nuke was the pick of FM-eSports, as such they managed to start on the favoured CT Side. After losing the pistol round to Endpoint, they took control of the first half of the map, not allowing their opponents too many runs at rounds, giving them a 10-5 lead. The second half was similar from Endpoint as they went to their CT side. Rounds were won individually and the only time FM had a streak that half was in the final three rounds – as they evened out the game to 15-15. Overtime then followed in the first UK Masters match. This eventually drifted into double OT, as both teams matched each-other out, before FM took their map pick 22-19.

Cache
Endpoint’s first map-pick was to be Cache. The side started off on the CT side, but lost the pistol to FM-eSports. FM continued to dominate the first half, in a similar fashion to how they played on Nuke. This lead them to the lead at the half, of 10-5. The second half didn’t provide any rest-bite for Endpoint, as FM went straight in taking the first two rounds. It was until FM had their 14th round when Endpoint answered back with one. But from there FM headed home taking their second map 16:6.
Mirage
The third map to be played in this UK Masters final is Mirage, FM’s pick. Endpoint kicked it all off on the CT side, taking the pistol and the four rounds following. FM only managed to interject once as Endpoint raced to eight rounds, before a clever string from them kept Endpoint’s lead at the half to 9-6. FM then kicked off the second half with their pistol and the second round, but then Endpoint found their feet once again. FM then instantly returned stringing together rounds of their own, taking the lead in the match. This lead continued until it was unassailable by Endpoint, as FM sped up onto the win, taking the game 16-11.

This means that FM-eSports take the UK Masters Season 2 final with a 3-1 scoreline. This earns them the £7,000 top prize. This leaves Endpoint with the second spot and £4,000.
With both FM and Endpoint joining the main bracket in the third round of play-offs, this means that the teams have the first and second seeds respectively.
Multiplay also announced the Third Season of UK Masters, to be commencing in January, 2017.
