Joe “joeski” Holmes and ANTARCTICA have decided to mutually part ways as the orgless quartet look for a fifth to complete their ranks. joeski has stuck by Igor “igorek” Kochany as the duo have been a part of a multitude of roster moves since the pair were on the old flowstate roster with Lorenzo “LTH” Venanzi. Since parting ways with ANTARCTICA, joeski eagerly searches for a team to compete on.
ANTARCTICA made a deep run last month, at the first EPIC.LAN of 2025, finishing 5th-6th. Going nearly flawless in the groups with 6 wins and a draw, ANTARCTICA had high expectations of themselves going into playoffs. Their good groupstage placing saw them enter the upper bracket with a match against Viperio Academy, which they won 2-0.
Their next test in the upper bracket would be to the eventual runners up, 8Sins, where they would lose 2-1. Then they only got the opportunity to play a single lower bracket match as they got beaten 0-2 by CTRL ALT DEFEAT, who would go on to come third at the Kettering event. Whilst top six is certainly a respectable placing joeski took to x (formerly Twitter) to express his disappointment with the placing.

ANTARCTICA, as a roster, have not been strangers to roster moves this season after bringing in Fizan “Fizzy” Anjum and Antal “Cher1on” Lubbers for Alex “Byfield” Byfield and Maximilián “w8max” Macášek. These two moves would have retained the core of the roster, but the last-minute kicking of LTH meant that ANTARCTICA had swapped out three players coming into Season 5 of UKIC Division 1. After bringing in Ehren “Ehgren” Osborne to replace the Italian IGL, the only two players remaining were igorek and joeski.
This meant that for the beginning of their UKIC run they had to play with Byfield instead of Fizzy for the first four games. This didn’t deter them as ANTARCTICA still made playoffs with a 5-4 record. joeski will continue to play with them for UKIC playoffs as they face 8Sins on March 19th in the Quarter Finals.
joeski also continued to play with ANTARCTICA in their ESEA Main playoffs run, but that has already come to an end as they finished 2-2.
With the benching of Joeski, igorek becomes the last man standing from the original Flowsate roster.
