With the grassroot talent from the Isles finally starting to make a mark on the big stages, it’s not only the top dogs of UKCS but also numerous ESEA League teams like Bearclaw, who have shown a steady upward trajectory in these recent months.
The core started its journey in Season 43 of ESEA and reached Main within a span of just two seasons, which is a commendable achievement in itself. Although the team missed the playoffs owing to Round Difference, they have already started a hunt for the missing pieces, which will take this project to new heights.
Changes were required, according to the team’s IGL Joe “godkU” Fowkes, in part because two of their players, Zachary “seiren” Bland and Ash “xey” Xey, were unable to practice because of their respective schedules. Role wise, the team is preferably looking for an Anchor and star rifler from EU or UK with ESEA Main/ Advanced experience under their belts to fill the void left by the departing members.
With the player break now getting underway, Bearclaw will begin trialling new players.
With their sights on the next season, the team currently consists of:
Dagmar “DagThePimple” Vens
Roberts “Frip” Polakovs
Joe “godkU” Fowkes
