Not too long ago, George “hudzG” Hoskins was linked with an international side, being the only Brit in amongst the lineup, a first since similar trends towards the end of Counter Strike: Source. That team, however, has since dissolved, but another Brit has now taken the leap to join an European side.
The roster consists of mainly Norwegian talent, including Stian “centeks” Ledal who has been seen playing within the UK scene briefly in the past. The team, dubbed the WestCostPirates, will play host to Ricardo “CRMJ” Costa, who had most recently been seen playing with TeamCRG many months ago. Joining him are two further Norwegian players, and one Czech.
Ricardo “CRMJ” Costa gave the following statement:
We are a core of players which know each other very well from previous teams. For like a year now we have been just playing for nothing, but 1 month back we decided we wanted to create a team. Practice is looking good and we feel confident about our future as a team.
Attending and participating in everything is our goal, but to reach that we must continue to practice hard. Since we got experience together from former teams, this will make it easier for us to continue as a team. We are currently without a org but again that will come in time along with our success.
The WestCoastPirates are:
Ricardo “CRMJ” Costa
Stian “centeks” Ledal
Vegard “yakin” Halvorsen
Kristian “mICROVAN” Nyborg
David “KAPARZO” Lacina
