An unexpected drama has hit the ESL UK Premiership finals this weekend, with the Choke line-up been left without a place to sleep tonight. The news started filtering in through twitter, as there seemed to be a bit of a problem coming from the Choke camp, which didn’t seem good from the start.

When asked what was actually going on, as the news and reactions coming around from those on the ground at MCM came thick and fast seemingly bad, everything turned out to be much, much worse than expected.

The boys from Choke seemed to have been left without a place to stay the night before the ESL UK Premiership finals, understandably everyone was rushing to help, with offers coming from KYAN1TEÂ and others to pay up for a room, as well as others offering to help with the cost, and even ESL managed to offer them a lifeline, giving the money that the team won from the group stage to Esio early to help pay for it all.
@Joeecsgo We just paid your group stage winnings to Ben – hope this helps guys! Wish there was more we could do.

However, that seemed like it wasn’t needed as finally, after over an hour of uncertainty, the Choke boys managed to sort themselves out a roof for the night, and hopefully the weekend. The drama was finally over…
@KYAN1TE @Joeecsgo @esioLoL @MiGHTYMAXcsgo I think so if this guy wasn't so nice we'd be FUCKED though… Really looking forward to tomorrow

But then the drama continued. Instead of what everyone assumed – hotel rooms with beds – it turns out… not. Instead news was coming through twitter saying that Choke have instead ended up on a floor. This wouldn’t necessarily be bad thing… Until you find out it was (reportedly) a £300 floor. Pretty expensive for a floor… 30 minutes drive from the venue…
But this floor was in the hotel that they originally were supposed to be booked at. The hotel that hadn’t been finished from the beginning. When everyone believes that it was sorted out and, with a roof over their head, it’s not *that* simple. The “hotel” is in a generally poor state. Two of the rooms they’re using are missing any form of electricity, as well as being nowhere near built at all. It’s also missing all forms of furniture – except for two beds that the guys will have to share.

So after what will be an uncomfortable night, you will have to hope that they will be able to focus and figure out what to do about the games tomorrow. They will be up first at 10am, heading up against Infused in the first semi-final game, followed up by XENEX -v- United Estonia at 1pm.
