Endpoint return to a British core after 608 days

The long reigning Kings of the UK scene have made a return.

The nine time champions of ESL Premiership have signed Oscar “AZUWU” Bell, meaning for the first time since they benched Thomas “Thomas” Utting on November 3rd 2021 Endpoint have a British core. The team has used stand-ins for ESL Premiership events in the past, but this is the first time in 608 days that they have had three British players in their active lineup.

Endpoint has recently had a huge shuffle on their roster. They parted ways with Frederik “Fessor” Sørensen by mutual agreement, Miłosz “mhL” Knasiakwas was acquired by Falcons and Allan “Rejin” Petersen was benched as coach, meaning it is the perfect time for Endpoint to rebuild. The signing of AZUWU is a classic Endpoint move. They have signed a young talent that isn’t widely known outside of his local scene, but has tremendous potential.

Endpoint has always had a strong identity, but in the last year many fans have felt that their identity has been in crisis. The move back to a UK core, especially with rumours that Into the Breach could be moving European, may well fix their identity problem and put them as hot contenders for the throne of the UK scene.

For AZUWU this is a huge move in his fairly young career. Within the UK space he is a well-known name that many predict to be a future star and he began proving that during his time on 1PIN, who would later be signed by Coalesce. He showed himself to be an aggressive rifler who reaches his peak on LAN.

What’s even more impressive than his skills in the server has been his quick rise through the ranks. At the beginning of 2022, AZUWU was playing in ESEA Intermediate for the first time, but within three seasons he was competing against top  European competition in ESEA Advanced. Now he has made the move to Endpoint, a team that has competed in ESL Pro League and is in dire need of a new spark.

UKCSGO understands that other European teams were very interested in AZUWU, but he ultimately made the move to join Endpoint.

Endpoint are now:

Max “MiGHTYMAX” Heath
Kia “Surreal” Man
Nikita “HeavyGod” Martynenko
Oscar “AZUWU” Bell
