EPIC.LAN has announced that its upcoming event this weekend will have constant fundraisers for Movember UK.
The Movember Foundation is the leading men’s health charity tackling men’s health on a global scale, year-round. Primarily, they encourage men to raise money for the charity by growing a moustache in the month of November.
Movember seek to address some of the biggest health issues faced by men: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health and suicide prevention. They set out to find and fund the most innovative research to have both a global and local impact. EPIC.LAN is joining the fight to help men live happier, healthier, and longer lives.
We're fundraising for @MovemberUK all through #EPIC46!
As the event lands perfectly on 1st November this year, we'll be running activities throughout the event to raise money for the cause including

EPIC.LAN is no stranger to charity events. Many people will remember “The Clash of Trash” on the EPIC.LAN 40 stage, where a team of The BINMEN took up arms against Granny’s Knockers, and raised a total of £2,813 for Breast Cancer UK.
This time around, EPIC.LAN will be raising awareness across the four-day event, and contributions shall be made through livestreams, chillout zones, raffles, and various engaging activities.
The UK event organisation has announced that all Twitch subs/donations/bits will be donated to Movember during the event, there will be a Sponsored Pub Quiz, and most importantly, a limited Edition 12 Months of Gumpmas Charity Calendar. More will be announced, so stay tuned.
UK CS has a long history of communities joining forces for charitable causes. The aforementioned BINMEN have raised £6,086 in total from all their charitable efforts. Following in their footsteps, the UNDERACHIVERS launched a series of tournaments fundraising for Safe In Our World and Get Well Gamers UK, raising £827.40 across the two events they ran.
