A few hours ago the LAN halls erupted with the sounds of excitable CS:GO players commencing the first round of their group stage games. Though the seeds of each group are yet to meet, the first round has not gone without its fair share of entertainment. Most notably, the VATIC side, who entered the tournament at seed 8, almost fell foul to a loss at the hands of Impulse Gaming. Despite this, the team managed to bring it back to a draw on the second map of the matchup.
Other than that, there were only 2-0 wins going in favour of the favoured sides. However, that does not mean the hall fell quiet. Check out our video of the sights and sounds of the first round of the CS:GO tournament below:
