The day of epic23 is upon us, and as gamers from all around the UK are packing up to travel to the Kettering Conference Centre, epicLAN are busy setting up the venue ahead of the doors opening later today. Despite the massive workload they have infront of them, they have found time to announce an increase to the CSGO prize pool thanks to the addition of a late sponsor.
GT Omega are no stranger to epicLANÂ and have been a sponsor of the event for some time now. They are returning to the sponsor podium for this event which sees a healthy boost to the prize purse.
At the moment there are 31 CSGO teams signed up to the event with 28 teams having the correct number of players. This splits the attending teams over a prize pool boundry. Should the number of competing teams remain at 28, then the prize pool for the event will be £3000. However if just 1 more team fills their roster, bringing the total competing teams to 29, then another £250 will be added to the prize pool which means 4th place gets £100, a placement that doesn’t get a prize with any fewer teams.
