After recently being invited to participate in the ESL UK Premiership, the Good Looking Gamers side were met with the departure of one of their longest standing members. After being asked to participate in the Italian EPS alongside the ever praised Luke “fearLess” Morris, Mark “maarc” Hammond decided to take up the offer and part ways with the GLG side. With just a few weeks before their Premiership debut, this left the invitees a man short. To fill the void, the Good Looking Gamers have drafted in the presumably good looking Steve “cpr” Cooper.
Thomas “Req” Llewelyn-Evans gave the following statement:
Maarc has been with us at GLG for many years, but recently he became aware that from an aesthetic perspective he was not on the same level as us. Therefore on the day we received the invite to EPS, he decided to leave us for the warm and comforting shores of fearLess (best awp uk apparently) and Gugli’s lucrative Italian EPS side. We wish him all the best as he’s a top chap and an exceptional counterforces player.
To replace him we got in cpr. We know virtually nothing about this gentleman, except that he can click a mouse to a high level and not go into a sulk when we inevitably lose games.
We look forward to EPS, and hope we can get the odd round via arv’s tendancy to leg it up mid.
GLG are now:
Thomas “Req” Llewelyn-Evans
Scott “ShiGeru” Hickling
Tim “Stannly” Harrison
Arveer “arv” Buray
Steve “cpr” Cooper
The Good Looking Gamers can be seen in full force this coming Monday, where they will be up against Team Infused in the ESL UK Premiership.
