After a tumultuous first six months back into Counter-Strike, Glitchtech looks for stability as they complete their international team with the addition of UK player Fred “FincHY” Finch.
Glitchtech returned to UK CS at the start of the year, picking up a UKIC Division 1 team featuring the likes of Marco “MMS” Salomone and Rhys “Rhys” Stumbles.
This roster, however, did not live up to expectations as, after a poor showing at EPIC.LAN 44, placing 9th – 12th, the team disbanded and forfeited the rest of their UKIC Division 1 games in Season 5. This did not deter Glitchtech, as they continued to show their commitment to Counter-Strike, swiftly returning and picking up ‘LFO’.

Rhys at EPIC.LAN 44 with Glitchtech
This roster, competing in ESEA Advanced and UKIC Season 6 Division 1, featured Ehren “Ehgren” Osborne and familiar faces to the UK CS scene, including Joe “joeski” Holmes and Anthony “BehinDx” Luscombe.
Unfortunately, just a month after joining, Ehgren would depart the roster alongside the German duo, Mergim “giM” Kuc and Samet “SnacKZ1” Hosel. The Welsh man would ride out the ESEA Advanced season with Glitchtech as they maintained their spot with a 7-7 record.
When Glitchtech picked up this roster, they also inherited ANTARTICA’s UKIC Division 1 spot. Due to there being only one person eligible to play in UKIC, Glitchtech would play the UK league with Fizan ‘Fizzy‘ Anjum and Zaid ‘Vonex‘ Almayali to complete the UK core.
Shockingly enough, Glitchtech placed second in the regular season, ahead of BOXED with Owen “smooya” Butterfield, and went straight to the semi-finals.
Unfortunately, Glitchtech wouldn’t progress any further as they were stopped by 28AvgAge, who qualified for the LAN Finals in the Red Bull Gaming Sphere.
Glitchtech wouldn’t make any official roster moves during last season, but now announces the signing of Oliwier “Brain” Dychus, Martin “marTineZ” Vers and ex-Reason Gaming rifle, FincHY.

BehinDx set to make this return to Kettering
Since the beginning of 2024, FincHY has played under the historic Reason Gaming banner. Throughout the various iterations of the rosters, there were minimal successful results. However, at the start of the year, Reason Gaming made a Cinderella run all the way to the finals of ESEA Main and qualified for ESEA Advanced. Alongside this, they placed first in the regular season of UKIC Season 5 Division 1.
This success was unfortunately short-lived, as not only did Reason Gaming fail to qualify for the UKIC LAN finals after losing to 8Sins in the semi-finals, but they also lost their ESEA Advanced spot. Just before the season started, Ukrainian duo Mykhailo “m1she4ka” Sakach and Vitaliy “v1ze” Filatov departed the organisation and took the Advanced spot with them.
Since then, FincHY hasn’t been spotted playing on a team, but now will look to return to those heights with Glitchtech.
Already confirmed in April when Glitchtech originally picked up BehinDx and joeski, this squad will be travelling to Kettering to compete at EPIC.LAN 45.
Glitchtech linked up with Preasy, WildLotus, Alliance, and InnerCricle, who are travelling to England next month for the BYOC LAN in search of VRS points.
Glitchtech will compete at EPIC.LAN 45 and in ESEA Advanced Season 54 with the following roster:
Anthony “BehinDx” Luscombe
Joe “joeski” Holmes
Oliwier “Brain” Dychus
Martin “marTineZ” Vers
Fred “FincHY” Finch
