As can be seen in the groups, most top-16 seeded teams managed to make the top of their groups. The biggest surprise and upset will be that EZSkins, the top seeded side and also the team representing the UK at DreamHack London in September, did not make the top of their group, being edged out by relative unknowns ALL4 by a single round difference, after the final game in the group where they held the “UK Superteam” to a 15-15 draw. In the other groups, 11th seed Omni eSports didn’t even qualify for the knock-out bracket and 16th seed LEAVEITYEAH, a mix side featuring FaceIT legend JZFB, ESL UK top bants-lad Jacky, the guy who holds NiP TV together logaN. and LGB eSports Female player Mattye, also finished second in their group.
