Rapture Gaming Festival saw its first event take flight earlier this year with a successful two-day exhibition take place at the Colchester Leisure World. They ran turn-up-and-play events for several leading titles across PC and console, including Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, which we were there running for them.
During this first event the operators, Fragers – the company behind the Razer Bus, were already planning out their second event and how they could improve on what had already been a near-perfect event. One of the ideas they had was to expand the event to include a 48 hours BYOC LAN hall. This plan took flight and tickets went on sale this morning for their first BYOC event.
The CS:GO tournament will have a £750 prize pool split between the top 2 teams, as well as a selection of Razer equipment. First place will see themselves walk away with £500, and second place will get the remaining £250.
There will also be a PlayerUnknown’s BattleGrounds tournament going on, as well as everything else happening in the main exhibition. So make your way down to Colchester for the 11-12th November for a fun packed weekend.
