After a disappointing UKIC Season 6 Division 2 performance, Recognised Talent dropped their roster and will be featuring a new team at EPIC.LAN 45.
Last season, Recognised Talent fielded a roster that placed 9th in UKIC Division 2, only getting three wins the whole season. Looking for a change, the organisation parted ways with haznoodle, Oscar “Keto” Kilvington, and Oliver “Maza” Mazarelo. Only Zy “yz0” Esponilla and Tristan “Stop_it” Ellis were held onto.
Recognised Talent completed their roster with Neo “Neo” Hatch, Zaid “Vonex” Almayali, and Tom “trouto” Troughton, the same team that made the UKIC Season 3 Division 1 Finals under Dreams To Legends.
Outside of that UKIC Season, this roster has competed a lot as a core. Playing with s0ra instead of Vonex at EPIC.LAN 42, the team played under Dreams To Legends, placing 9th-12th. The following EPIC, they brought Vonex back in and switched out Neo for Oscar “LVN” Levin, finishing once again 9th-12th.

Stop_it’s screams will be heard all over Kettering
In UKIC, they have also played three seasons together, their highlight being the second-place finish in Season 3 of Division 1.
The roster has already found success on the run-up to EPIC.LAN 45 as they qualified for UKIC Season 7 Masters only in their second attempt.
This was a very unexpected result from the team, especially considering they had to use VENO as a stand-in due to Stop_it being on holiday. This didn’t deter them as they beat CORE3, then Company 8, 2-1 in the qualification game.
Recogised Talent have confirmed that, as it stands, this roster will not be the roster that represents the organisation after EPIC.LAN 45.
As far as UK CS teams go, Recognised Talent are very tenured LAN players and could have been ordinarily expecting a deep run at EPIC.LAN 45. But this is no ordinary EPIC.
Due to the importance of LAN matches in the Valve Ranking System, European teams are flocking to Kettering in their masses. Recognised Talent will, therefore, have to test their mettle against Iberian Soul, The Last Resort, FUT, Alliance, and Glitchtech.
