sl3nd leaves Endpoint

The Hungarian AWPer has left Endpoint after eight months on the team.

Endpoint have announced on X (formerly Twitter) that the team’s AWPer, Henrich “sl3nd” Hevesi has left the organisation and joined GamerLegion. Endpoint have yet to announce a replacement for the young star, but have committed themselves to remaining in the UK CS scene stating; “we remain committed to Counter-Strike and will continue to build around our existing UK core of MiGHTYMAX, Surreal, and AZUWU.”

Last summer Endpoint went back to their roots and created a roster with a UK core. As part of the rebuild the British organisation signed yet another promising AWP prospect who previously played for MOUZ NXT. sl3nd immediately made an impact on the team, averaging a 1.16 HLTV rating over the 151 maps he played whilst on the roster.

Now the very promising Hungarian has been transferred to GamerLegion and Endpoint are once again looking to fill a space in the team.

For GamerLegion this follows a trend of recent changes, including the benching of Nicolas “Keoz” Dgus. Now the team has replaced Frederik “acoR” Gyldstrand in the Thunderpick World Championship’s EU Closed Qualifier and all other competitions with Sl3nd until further notice. The BLASTtv Paris Major finalists have struggled to find their form after having its previous roster picked apart heading into CS2.

sl3nd, who has been regarded as one to watch on the international stage, started his GamerLegion stint with a bang as the team defeated GUNS 2-1 and the AWPer dropped a 1.11 HLTV rating with 48 kills.

With the departure of Sl3nd and the recent benching of Denis “swicher” Baranov, Endpoint are now down to their three Brits and Canadian coach, once again finding themselves thrust into a rebuild not entirely of their own making. The team will be preparing for  YaLLa Compass Spring 2024 and Elisa Invitational Spring 2024 that are taking place this month, so it is likely that we will see announcements or trials of new Endpoint players soon.

But for now, Endpoint are:

Max “MiGHTYMAX” Heath
Kia “Surreal” Man
Oscar “AZUWU” Bell

Felix “Frøg” Bergeron (coach)
