Today Thomas “Spudz” White has announced on Twitter his departure from CaZ eSports, after the strong showing at epic.LAN and a first round drop out in the ESL UK Premiership Promotions.
This currently leaves CaZ with the following line up:
Jake “Jakem” McClausland – Captain
Craig “REAZN” Brackenridge
Decclan “Decclan” Tobin
kostas “tsack” Theodoropoulos
There is the rumour floating around that Mini will be joining them at their new 5th as he was seen with the team at epic.LAN but this is yet to be confirmed.
Statement from Spudz on why he left –
“It’s been coming for a long time, the past few weeks I’ve lacked motivation to play. I did have plans to leave before epic.LAN but the team had asked me to just help out and keep playing so I agreed. I probably played some of the worst CS ever in my career at LAN which wasn’t surprising considering the amount I played before hand and with the result of coming second at LAN, it basically pushed me towards the door.”
And on his future plans –
“I dunno really, I still want to play and hope to play at the next iSeries with a mix as I still have enough time over the summer. I’m moving out mid-September for university which may limit my offers but who knows, I can’t really decide until after my freshers week has finished. I’ve also looked the possibility of doing streaming every night so keep an eye out on my Twitter (@OfficialSPUdZ).”
