The Last Resort have exited Counter-Strike “for the time being”, with their roster returning to free agency.
If this sounds familiar, it’s probably because it is. The Last Resort signed the Dripmen roster built by Frazer “frazehh” Sollom last November, parting ways with them in March after an underwhelming EPIC.44 performance and failure to make play-offs in UKIC Division 1. frazehh rebuilt the team under the name Dripmen, adding the likes of Rhys “RhysStumbles” Stumbles and Joseph “godkU” Fowkes, and The Last Resort picked them up again.
During this season, the team and new AWPer Isaac “Isaac” Patto parted ways with former TLR and ANTARCTICA player Cher1on brought in as a stand-in. With the team sitting on a 5W-6L record in ESEA and 2W 3L in UKIC, the long-standing organisation has opted to release the squad mid season after disagreements between the organisation and players. UKCSGO.com understand the team were contracted until the end of the season and the upcoming EPIC.LAN 45 but has now been released from their contracts. The team has confirmed they intend to play EPIC.LAN 45 with Cher1on, and they are now funding their own tickets, playing once again under the banner of Dripmen.
Looking for org for epicLAN 45, UKIC Div 1 and ESEA.
Going forward we will be known as dripmen #dripordrown🥶— Fraser (@frazehhh) May 14, 2025
The Last Resort have fielded the likes of Henry “HenryG” Greer and Thomas “Thomas” Utting in their 20-year esports history, and have been a common sight in ESL Premierships and ESEA Main. They recently acquired the esports assets of VALORANT community, The Goose House, following the closure of Into the Breach, and re-launched their community Discord server with regular competitions and prizes.
The Dripmen tag was created in 2022 when frazehh left True Ambition. Their biggest achievement while orgless was winning the UKIC Beyond Winter Invitational that year, and they have previously competed for Verdant as well as TLR. They are currently seeking an organisation for the rest of the season.
In response to a request for comment from UKCSGO, The Last Resort replied:
We are taking a step back from the scene and re-evaluating our position. We will see what the future holds – if we pick up another team , if we move into another game, if I even carry on with esports at all.”
Dripmen are:
Frazer “frazehh” Sollom
Connor “Bigun007” Suddons
Rhys “RhysStumbles” Stumbles
Joseph “godkU” Fowkes
Antal “Cher1on” Lubbans (stand-in)
After careful consideration, TLR has decided to step away from Counter-Strike for the time being. As part of this decision, we’ve released our CS2 roster from their contracts.
We’re incredibly grateful for everything the team gave while representing us. pic.twitter.com/X2CNvEzII6
