After the apparent departure of James “lumji” Webb from the Team XENEX line-up earlier this month, a big question mark was cast over who the team would draft in as their fifth for their upcoming ESL UK Premiership opener against exceL eSports. Speculation surrounding the final spot threw a few names into contention, but the more high profile of the rumours pointed to Josh “mole” Rowley.
Late last night it was however confirmed that the fifth man would indeed be Josh “mole” Rowley, a player not unknown to the top end of UK CSGO. Josh himself has made a number of appearances recently playing as a stand-in for a few teams in the Premiership qualifiers, as well as lending a hand to CAZ eSports when they have been down a man. For now though he has managed to find himself a secure place on the XENEX roster, who can first be seen in action with there new player tonight at 7pm.
A statement from the team is expected shortly.Â
Team XENEX are now:
Sam “RattlesnK” Gawn
