With CS:GO being one of the most prominent attractions now at EpicLan, it’s only natural for them to continually gain traction with varying sponsors. With no surprise, they’ve already received generous help from CrispSRV, a mostly CS:GO focused hosting company. However, today it was announced that Unikrn has entered into an agreement with EpicLan, in order to fully max out the available CS:GO prizemoney.
What does this mean for the prize pool of the upcoming event? Well, see below;
- £1725 (Plus Epic.Nineteen Tickets)
- £875 (Plus Epic.Nineteen Discount)
- £300 (Plus Epic.Nineteen Discount)
- £100
It’s quite clear, both from EpicLan’s released statement, as well as the overall ethic coming from the management team, that they are continually making strides to both improve the LAN experience for CS:GO attendees, as well as including the viewing experience for those at home.
Rahul Sood, CEO of Unikrn also had something to say;
We are all gamers at heart and we love to watch eSports! Having found a partner in the UK, who displays the same passion as we do and has such a rich legacy in gaming, supporting the event was a natural thing for us to do. We are proud to become the sponsor of epic.EIGHTEENÂ and we are looking forward to watch exciting matches!
Jon Winkle, epic.Lan Managing Director had this to say;
The support we have seen over the past few events from the UK gaming community has been phenomenal. Three out of our last five events have sold out and the demand is still growing. The amazing support we see from organisations such as Unikrn means that we can reward those players more and more and increase the standard of competition for everyone watching at home
It’s only promising news from Epic.Lan, with the event constantly being on the up and up, as well as the constant push for an improved overall experience. It’s important we support announcements such as these, for, without sponsors, these events simply wouldn’t be possible; so make sure you head over to Epic.Lan’s press release and shows some support.
