CAZ eSports announce Surreal & MiNi

by Archive

Yesterday, CAZ eSports decided to announce their fully fledged roster heading into 2016. It had been widely speculated since the fateful weekend recently in December, that Surreal after winning insomnia56 with Team CeX, would be joining up with the team he helped beat in the Best-Of-Five Grand Final.

All the rumours were made official yesterday with the announcement that they had finalised their roster for 2016 moving ahead. After a relatively lengthy stay for Jamie “Keita” Hall, he finally says goodbye to his former team mates. With Jamie making way, one of the biggest fraggers at insomnia56 has finally stepped up and moved to CAZ eSports in the aftermath of the roster changes and UK Scene ultimate demise following CeX’s surprise win at insomnia56. That person would be Kia “Surreal” Man who was one of Team CeX’s star players.

Will Surreal (pictured middle), be able to help Jakem’s side to glory?

Following in fm-eSports footsteps and seemingly becoming a trend within the UK Scene, CAZ eSports also moved to snap up Jake “miNi” Harris to coach the side on a permanent basis, he will be hopefully helping the side devise strategies and review demo’s over the coming year to help CAZ eSports better prepare for European and UK events.

Ben Bagg, COO of CAZ eSports had this to say to their website:

After the end of 2015 we decided to up our game! With the StarSteries coming up and our plans for a European adventure it made perfect sense for us to bring in a dedicated coach such as Jake to join our ranks. We are also excited to bring in Surreal especially after his excellent performances over 2015 and even against us at Insomnia. We are very excited for the new lineup and its prospects and are excited for what 2016 has to offer!

CAZ eSports are as follows:

Jake “jakem” McCausland
Ben “r0m” Smith
Rory “dephh” Jackson
James “Kryptix” Affleck
Kia “Surreal” Man

Jake “miNi” Harris (Coach)

The next event that CAZ eSports will be competing in is the European Minor Championship Qualifiers where they hope to bag themselves some favourable results and a place at the European Minor Championship Finals held in Bucharest on January 29th – 31st.
