With the UKCSGO County Championship set to kick off this weekend, we are thrilled to announce we have teamed up with ChallengeMe.GG to provide the tournament structure and servers for this event.
An email was sent out last night to all users on the County Championship announcing this collaboration. This email asked all members to sign up to ChallengeMe.GG and update their account on cc.ukcsgo.com to include their ChallengeMe.GG username in their profile, using the new field we added last night. This is required urgently so we can start creating the teams on ChallengeMe.GG.
ChallengeMe.GG have released an update to their desktop client today which has improved its performance and anti-cheat capabilities. For this reason, we’re changing our initial response regarding the client, and making it mandatory for the UKCSGO County Championship. You can download the client from the ChallengeMe.GGÂ website.
ChallengeMe.GG is an automated tournament and matchmaking system which has made its mark on the scene offering fully automated 1v1 matchups. Dedicated to improving on their offerings they then moved into offering out their platform to people who wanted to run their own tournaments. Now they are turning their head on tackling the 5v5 matchmaking market. This feature is currently in active development and set to be released in the near future.
Here at CME.GG, we’re very excited to support UKCSGO with their upcoming County Championships. Along with the community, we expect to see some epic matches over this coming weekend! – Harry Wiggett, CME.GG Events Manager
