After what has been both an eventful and controversial day, with upsets and anger galore the Dreamhack Open London Qualifiers has reached it’s Final 4 teams. These teams are:
- Infused (ZED, AaroN, neilzinho, redSNK, KritikaL)
- EZskins (Puls3, weber, mole, fearLess, Rattlesnk)
- Reason.uk (Fisher, Surreal, kARMA, CINDER, Jonny)
- team_batham (badbeatz, batham, ono, mdt, Joee)
As was noted in earlier posts, we are missing some big names here like Choke Gaming and CSGOCasino (ex-XENEX[ish]) due to a controversial seeding system and inconsistent timings and poor communications, but we’re here.
Infused got through to the semi-finals by beating The Last Resort in the previous round, as well as other mix-teams created especially for this qualifier in the previous rounds. EZskins had the tougher match-up, having to face-off against Choke Gaming in the Round of 16, and Project UK in the quarters. Reason.uk had a route filled with some of the other well known names in the form of Curse These Metal Hands in the Round of 16 and the CAZ eSports in the Quarters. team-batham, this mix of some well known players, had a fairly simple route facing some small teams until coming up against 2sexy2perform in the quarters, before dispatching of them as well.
These final 4 teams will provide some interesting viewing and the two semi’s for a chance to get to the final and a spot at Dreamhack London are:
- Infused v EZskins
- Reason.uk v team_batham
