After the Dreamhack Open London was announced to be held in the Copper Box arena on the 19-20th September, many had been wondering who would be the teams featuring in the competition. The list of invited teams has just been announced, featuring some of the best names in the world. The invited teams are:
- Team SoloMid
- Team EnVyUs
- Renegades
- Team dignitas
- mousesports
This is a very talented line-up for the Dreamhack Open, rivalling the teams that Gfinity managed to get together for their Summer Masters tournament. The tournament will be filled with 8 teams, the remaining 3 from qualifiers, and will feature a BO1 Double Elimination group stage, then a BO3 playoff.
The added upside for this tournament, however, is that there is a chance for UK sides to qualify to play against them. The UK online qualifiers for the tournament is still open for teams to apply to, which currently features names like Infused and EZskins. Sign up here.
