The recently acquired VATIC side came into the epic EIGHTEEN CS:GO tournament assigned the eigth seed, seeing them placed in a group with fourth seed uFrag as well as hopeful outsiders, Impulse Gaming. As the day began, VATIC got off to a slow start. The aforementioned outsiders of impulse gaming pushed the side all the way into overtime and eventually took a map versus the favoured side, and though they didn’t eventually win the BO2 series, Impulse Gaming certainly demonstrated to the VATIC side that complacency was not an option.
We managed to catch up with one of the younger, more up and coming players of the VATIC side Charlie “K1NDEADLY” Weber, who gave us an insight into that game and his tournament in general.
