Grand Finals:
The day of the Grand Finals is upon us. Bulldog eSports versus Radix eSports in a BO5 series.
Radix eSports didn’t drop one game during the Elimination Stage meaning that they were given the one map advantage. Already leading the series 1-0 giving Radix a huge advantage heading into the remainders of the series needing only 2 maps to take the victory and the title.
Map 1: Radix One Map Advantage
With Radix eSports not dropping down into the Lower Brackets during the entire course of the event. Radix starts with a one map advantage from their set of games, as for Bulldog the require 3 map wins to take the Grand-Finals.
Map 2: Nuke
Kicking off the Grandfinals between Radix eSports and Bulldog eSports a 2v1 in favour of Bulldog, Owen ‘Smooya’ Butterfield attempts to clutch the round out for Radix but fluffs his shots giving away the pistol to Bulldog eSports. Bulldog get off to a flying star picking up a strong set of rounds letting one round slip. A desperate Radix side trying to find their way back into the game claw a couple of rounds. Progressing through the half Bulldog caving in on Radix across the map take the half 12:3. Needing only 4 more rounds to take map two a close 1v1 pistol rounds goes to Bulldog. Putting Bulldog in a perfect situation to take the map Radix manage to win the force bringing back one round.

After a couple of round wins for Radix it goes down to a 1v1 with Bulldog winning it out taking it to map point. Possibly the finals round of map one with a rifle round it gets narrowed down to a 2v3 but Radix keep themselves alive for map two. Shortly after Bulldog claim their final round winning the series 16:7. Map 2 goes to Bulldog.
Map 3: Overpass
Advancing through the series we move onto Overpass. Radix takes the pistol round and follows up with another one. Bulldog then shut them down in the third round. Going to the scoreline of 3:2 Bulldog make easy work of Radix losing one player bring it to 3:3. Bulldog clutch out multiple rounds on B bringing the scoreline to 3:8 to the Bulldog side. Taking control of the half Radix show no sign of breaking the streak of rounds going to Bulldog closing out the half 11:4.
Taking to the CT side Bulldog dominating the game but end up losing the pistol round in a close round. The first buy round coming in for the Bulldog team against Radix’s strong economy. Unfortunately for Bulldog, Radix take the round and pull themselves back into the game. After a comeback into the game, it goes to map point for Bulldog 15:12. Luzuh brings it down to a 1v1 from a 3v1 but falls, in the end, losing the game 16:12. Bulldog lead the series 2-1.
Map 4: Dust 2
Moving onto map 4 of the series Dust 2 is to be played out. Bulldog pull out an intense pistol round starting off the map with a round win. Following through with another 5 rounds taking over the early terrorist side. Radix claws back a round but are quickly shut down by another buy from Bulldog putting the scoreline to 7:1 in favour of Bulldog. Complete dominance has been shown throughout the first half by Bulldog showing no signs of stopping. Finishing off the half Radix claim 2 quick rounds only leaving it at an 11:4 scoreline to Bulldog.
Beginning the second half, skuxz picks up a couple of key frags eventually winning the pistol round putting them up 12:4. Radix forces a buy with the money from the bomb plant in a desperate attempt to keep themselves alive, closing out the round with all 5 surviving Radix respond with a win. Radix putting on a comeback bringing it to 13:11 as Bulldog ruin the dreams of the comeback clutching out a close round. Possibly being the final round map and series point. Bulldog needing only one more round to take the title win, skuxz mows down the enemy on short giving the 1st place win to Bulldog eSports!
