The much anticipated announcement of the UK “Super Team” is finally upon us. Ezskins.com, a CS:GO skin raffle site, went live moments ago and as promised they have confirmed their entrance into the competitive UK and European CS:GO scene. The final lineup has been confirmed as:

It brings me immense pleasure to announce the EZskins.com CS:GO team. It’s a project we’ve been working on for the last 3 months and starting our own eSports organisation has always been one of the main targets to work hand-in-hand with the item raffle website.
I appreciate that the state of CS:GO within the ‘UK Scene’ has become some-what of a meme on certain parts on the internet but that’s exactly why I wanted to assemble the best possible British line-up to challenge Europe and reclaim the success we had in the CS:S era. I am confident Rattlesnk is the right man to achieve this goal and he has my full backing to lead this team in the direction he sees suitable. We’ll be playing online as much as physically (and virtually) possible and be looking to compete at international events before the year is out.

Despite our recent triumph with XENEX at the ESL UK Premiership we decided that in order to reach our full potential we would need to make changes to our personnel and organisation. With Luke and Brandon we acquired two of the best UK players who have shown their quality and will undoubtedly make us stronger in the future.
The balance to the squad is far superior than with previous UK teams and I feel this will help us develop a solid team that is capable of playing as I always envisaged. It’s honestly been extremely difficult over the last two years to find five UK players with the dedication and ability to play the game as I’ve wanted. With this line-up I feel we will at least stand a fighting chance of showing that a UK team can deliver and provide exciting and fluid CS.
Under the EZskins backing we will be fully supported by guys we consider friends and therefore in time I am confident we will bring them the results they deserve. I know many people seem to think UK players are lazy or don’t deserve anything but we all feel privileged to have this opportunity in a game we have a genuine passion for. We all play because we want to be successful and prove that the UK scene can and will prove the countless doubters and haters wrong.
With the team falling at the hands of United Estonia in the ESL UK Last Chance Qualifier for a chance to win a spot in the next season of the ESL UK Premiership. They will be taking in the Gfinity UK Championship this weekend which will be the first time we see them play under the official “ezskins” tag so we look forward to seeing what damage they can do.
