After the dust has settled with regards to the obscene amounts of carnage within the UK Scene since that fateful weekend in Birmingham. It seems now is the time where roster changes are finally (and slowly) being announced properly.
fm-eSports announced their new revamped roster on Monday after they had given Mike “Powell” Powell his marching orders and Joe “Joee” Leigh decided to quit the team, which meant that fm, were left to find two new faces.
They have indeed found three new faces to their line up. Those new faces include the usual familiar face of Reece “Puls3” Marrs who was formerly with EZSKINS before they decided to collapse after insomnia56 and another usual UK Scene frequent face with Joey “CRUC1AL” Steusel who was with Team Infused for a long time throughout 2015 (despite leaving them once for Team Orbit). These two make the bulk of their new revamped roster.
However the most significant change this time around, is bringing in Alex “rdl-“ Redl as a coach to the team. He has a wealth of experience not just within the European scene, but also with his regular sessions within the UK Scene. He hasn’t been overly active within the CS:GO scene, but can certainly offer the team an understanding of how to crack the European scene as well as making sure fm-eSports return to the forefront of the UK Scene. He was seen at iSeries sitting behind the team offering input and advise, but is a huge help to the team to have him as a resource in online events too.
Alex “rdl-“ Redl offered this statement to the fm-eSports website:
It feels great being back in eSports and CS:GO after having a break because of work.
I have been thinking about coaching for a while and when Darren / Yakkkkkk asked me it felt only natural I’d take the opportunity to try it out and see if I can make a difference with the FM guys. It’s been a new and exciting experience and it is a great feeling when you try and implement something and it works out. Hopefully I can get accross as much knowledge possible from all the years spent playing the game on all different levels. I have great confidence that these guys can make a dent in the scene and eventually break through with the right tools at their disposal.
The team is as follows:
Ian “Immi” Harding
Reece “Puls3” Marrs
Benjamin “Esio” Doughty
Max “Mightymax” Heath
Joey “CRUC1AL” Steusel
Alex “rdl-“ Redl (Coach)
