Impulse Gaming have announced that they will have a top contender representing us at i59 next week. Their lineup for the event consists of 3 ex-NerdRage players and 2 talented players brought in for the tournament.
The players are:
Jon “Cynic” Burvill
Sam “Samwell” Reynolds
Liam “LiamS” Scotter
Josh “JDD” Denham
Ralfs “Worsty” Abols
The roster boasts impressive achievements online, with NerdRage having shown a strong performance in ESEA Main this season and Worsty‘s team having qualified for Premier. And not forgetting JDD, who also competed in Main this season with VATIC, and grabbed a surprise 4th place finish at the last iseries.
It will be an incredibly interesting lineup to watch, with the young Swiss talent, Worsty, as one to watch for the weekend. The players will without doubt also draw on Cynic‘s experience and calm in the big matches, with both players being key to the success of the team.
Impulse Gaming are confident that these lads can represent them well, and are sure they’re capable of an upset or two.

I am excited about playing in Insomnia 59 as it is my first LAN ever and I am looking forward to meeting friends that I have talked to for a long time online and playing some good CS.

Overall, I’m happy with the composition of this mix team. Considering we were searching for +2 such short notice our options included a surprising range of players boasting a variety of talents, I’m happy to be going with JDD and Worsty it should be a blast all things considered!
