Chloe “KittyTM” Geaney has been dropped from GamerLegion Prism just two days after joining following controversy regarding “discriminatory comments and behaviour.”
Coming into ESL Impact Season 4, UK CS had two players representing the region, Mia “aiM” Cooper on NIP Impact and then-newcomer “KittyTM“. After qualifying for this season of ESL Impact from the first open qualifier under the banner ‘Let Her Cook’, the team looked very promising. Players such as Luna “Maneschijnx” Akkermans, who had just won the IESF Women’s World Championship with the Netherlands, shaped this team to be a real danger looking for a home. Alongside that, KittyTM surprised by the scene by posting a 1.25 HLTV across the qualifiers and her first two games of ESL Impact.
With a record of 1-1 in the main season and off the back of a boot camp, GamerLegion Prism showed promising signs. However after tweets were posted about KittyTM using racial slurs and conducting herself in a discriminatory manner, GamerLegion took action by dropping her.
This now makes aiM the only player from the British Isles currently playing in ESL Impact.
