Late last year we heard through the grapevine that the new org on the block, Monumentalis, had lost their CSGO team shortly after they had signed twelve month contracts. Earlier tonight this was finally confirmed by Monumentalis via their website.
Linked into the announcement is the sign of a new team being on the horizon for the organisation, but no signs as to who it may be at the moment. It is likely that they will be put under the same contract as the previous team with the intent on creating a stable UK roster to challenge the top of the scene.
We at Monumentalis⢠are disappointed that this has happened and we feel it is very important that if the UK CS:GO scene is to progress and reach the stature of previous games such as CS 1.6 and CS: Source, then teams need to instill as much professionalism and stability as possible.
Despite the sad news of us having to remove our CS:GO team, we are already in advanced talks with another team who we believe, will be able to achieve an even higher placement at the next LAN event we will be attending.
Their old lineup, who managed to finish 5th at i56, is planning on sticking together with Dudley âdudleyâ Morris being replaced by Luke âfearLessâ Morris. They have also replaced Tramaine “xfp” Stanley with Elliot “Berty” Towse-Bertram. are reverting back to their “ALL4” tag until they find a new organisation to call home.
Elliot “EB” Bidmead had this to say about moving forward.
Since I56 we have made two changes to our lineup for 2016 with Berty and fearLess coming in to replace dudley and xfp. We have parted ways with Monumentalis due to a differences of opinion and we wish them well in the future. Â We will therefore be looking for an organisation going forward that we can work with to achieve the goals that we have set out for ourselves. We will be attending I57 and participating in other online and offline competitions.
ALL4 is:
Elliot “EB” Bidmead
Max “maxyB” Bidmead
Henry “Chon1c” Thornton
Luke “fearLess” Morris
Elliot “Berty” Towse-Bertram
