The squad, formerly of Coalesce, have finalised their team for the first ESL Premiership Closed Qualifier and there are two new names put forward. Joining the old core of Ryan “dox” Young, Oliver “leaf” Jackson, and Tobias “shyyne” Saether will be the K10 duo of Jamie “Tree” Callan and Adam “AdamJC” Colwell. The latter of which is only trialling for the team, whilst Tree has officially left K10 to pursue this opportunity.
Ex-Coalesce is a recently formed project put together by dox using the core of his former team. The roster that was once signed by Coalesce fell apart shortly after Coalesce parted ways with their Head of esports and Oscar “AZUWU” Bell made the move to Endpoint. The only other member of the team not to join this orgless side is Jack “Gizmy” von Spreckelsen, the rifler was on trial with Coalesce and, according to sources, has now received an offer to join a European side.
This a huge step up for Tree who recently said he was ready to join an ESEA Advanced level team in an interview with UKCSGO. The move comes just days after K10 announced that Tree had left the team after eight months, during his time on the roster their peak achievement was a 5th-8th finish at the UKIC Spring Invitational 2023.
Whilst the move to obtain Tree might not come as a shock to many people, due to his status as a well fought after star rifler, the trial of AdamJC is certaintly out of left-field. The Irish 22-year-old has been the face of K10 as well as their IGL. His appearance on Ex-Coalesce means that there is now three players who have experience as an IGL on the roster. It is not yet known who will be calling for the side in the ESL Premiership Closed Qualifiers.
For K10 this move could be devastating as AdamJC is the team’s IGL and Tree is seen as one of the most up-and-coming players in the scene. It yet to be seen if AdamJC will stay with the squad after the trial, but it is apparent that this move could change the direction of K10.
Ex-Coalesce will play their first game as a team tonight at 18:30 against 7AM during the ESL Premiership Closed Qualifier 1. Their roster will be:
