Molotovs n Marshmallows have today announced that Somprasert “s0m” Haddow has returned to the CS:GO scene in the UK and will be featuring in their line-up at insomnia56 next weekend. Somprasert was last seen playing for The Last Resort at epic.FOURTEEN in February where he achieved fourth place with the likes of Tom “vertiGo” Rockliffe & Roger “paynt” Paynter. Since then Somprasert has been keeping relatively quiet due to his sustained time out in Thailand and other real life priorities he has put in place since 2013.
Following a short stint of matchmaking recently, he felt now was the time to search for a new team when he was approached by Tom “vertiGo” Rockliffe in a move to Molotovs n Marshmallows with insomnia56 on the horizon and increased European opposition that was rumoured. Hopefully this move will be a huge payoff for both the team and Somprasert.
Somprasert “s0m” Haddow gave the following statement on MnM.gg:
After getting back from Thailand, I decided I needed to take a long break from fighting after sustaining an injury in one of my fights out there. I decided I wanted to try and see if Counter-Strike was still as enjoyable as it once was for me, as I originally chose to quit in 2013 because I lost my passion in the game. After playing a few weeks of matchmaking and FaceIt, I thought it would be a good time to try and find a team where I could try and get back my form when I was in FM Toxic. Fortunately, I was approached by one of my good friends and ex team-mates, Tom vertiGo Rockliffe, on whether I wanted to join and try and re-kindle my passion for the game. Hopefully iSeries can be a stepping stone for greater things, seeing as Counter-Strike continues to grow in and outside the UK.
