Starting off CEVO debut in the Gfinity arena is the game between the Brazilian team Tempo Storm and the Danish side of SK Gaming. Looking to be one of the better matchups of today, both the analysis desk along with the casting desk both expected close games with Tempo Storm taking the edge.
Even though Tempo Storm was going into SK’s map pick of Train, we saw SK struggle immensely on their terrorist side with a convincing 14-1 CT side for Tempo. Going into SK’s CT side, we saw a large improvement  with both Friis and Pimp stepping up and making up for the poor performance in the 1st half. Even though they couldn’t close it out with the final score of the map being 16-12 in favour of the Brazilians! Surprisingly we saw that AcilloN top fragging for the Danish line-up and was one of the reasons that we saw SK Gaming contest the Brazilian line-up
Going into Tempo’s map choice, we expected a different story on their T side based on their past experience on their map choice Cobblestone. Starting off with SK gaming winning the pistol and the following round, Tempo Storm managed to pick up 12 out of the remaining 13 rounds in the half thanks to Felps’s insane fragging skills and Booltz consistently getting frags across the board. Surprisingly we saw Tempo’s star player Hen1 have a quite series with him bottom fragging within his team.
Going into the terrorist half, we saw SK Gaming gradually get some rounds on the board with the game finishing at a 16-6 scoreline with both snipers having insanely quite games based on both maps, even the unplayed third map cache, being some of the best maps for snipers and we saw Hen1 and Friis defiantly underperform
There are more games to follow at the Cevo Season 9 finals at the Gfinity Arena in London, and we will be bringing you all the action.
