The sixth week of the ESL Premiership is done and dusted. While some teams are looking to secure their spot in the top four, some are still looking for their first win.
Fierce v Wind & Rain
Kicking off week six of competition, unbeaten Fierce Esports did battle with Wind & Rain on Vertigo.
Some crisp Desert Eagle shots in the early rounds kept the game close but it was Fierce who managed to hold a slender lead over their opponents. Towards the end of the second half, Wind & Rain began to claw back the deficit but thanks to their strong economy, Fierce managed to hold on to a 16-14 win, all but guaranteeing their place in the top four.

ReflexEU v Royals
Next up were Reflex taking on Royals in a must-win Mirage for Reflex, who were still looking for their first win.
Reflex came out swinging and quickly gained a 5-1 lead on the T-side. Royals slowly clawed their way back into the game and at the end of the opening half, they were ahead 8-7.
After some back and forth rounds in the second half, it was Reflex who were able to take the initiative and close out the game 16-13 to take their first Premiership win of the Summer season.

Vexed v Endpoint
The third match of the day would see Team Endpoint against Vexed in what was set to be a highly competitive Mirage game.
Vexed looked the far superior team in the first half gun rounds and quickly solidified a 10-5 lead at the end of the opening half.
The momentum was fully in the favour of Vexed, who quickly closed out the game 16-5. A big win to help with their push for playoffs.

Buzzkill v PensionersÂ
Ending proceedings would be an in-form Buzzkill taking on Pensioners on Dust 2.
Hot off the back of a second place finish at Epic27, Buzzkill were intent of moving off the bottom of the table.
The opening rounds traded back and forth between the two teams but it was Pensioners that managed to establish early control. After 24 rounds, it was still all to play for with just three rounds separating the two sides. Eventually it was Pensioners who held strong to take the win 16-11.

After six weeks of competition, Fierce Esports have become the first team to guarantee their place in the playoffs. Wins for Endpoint, Vexed and Pensioners in the next weeks would all but seal the deal on their places but with Wind & Rain and Royals close behind, the final three places are still all to play for.
