Molotovs n Marshmallows CS team disband

It was announced on Twitter last night that UK Masters team Molotovs and Marshmallows would be disbanding. The tweet posted by both the official account and by team member Elliott Towse “BeRTY” Bertram stated that their UK Masters game this evening against Team Infused would be their last game together as a full roster.

The roster has been together since December and have attended multiple LAN events together, the most recent being epic.EIGHTTEEN where they placed 5/6th after losing 2-0 to Team Infused in the Upper Bracket Semi-Finals and 2-0 to Perilous Gaming in the Lower Bracket Semi Finals meaning they didn’t reach their seed of 3rd.

UKCSGO reached out to Molotovs and Marshmallows for a comment and they told us the following:

It’s been nearly 6 months since we were in talks with the team and it’s honestly been a great to meet and work with all the players. The team has achieved a lot together and though it’s sad to the team go but it has ended on no hard feelings and we wish everyone the best in their future. We will not be accepting team applications for now.

It remains to be seen what will happen in the UK Masters tournament and whether the org will continue with a new roster or if they will drop out completely and give a default win to any team they were due to come up against.
