UK Masters: Week 2

Yesterday week 2 of the UK Masters play out with the first game being The Working Men facing off against Orgless. Going into the match, we saw both teams standing at a 2-0 record and knowing that one team will come out of this match still undefeated.

With Orgless being well versed on their Terrorist side, we experienced a 12-3 home to Orgless on the T Side with Puls3 and Max being the dominating factors for the impressive T half. Meanwhile coming into the next half, we saw the PUG factor and the pure aim of the likes of Robinn and KRYPTIX being the heavy hitters to drag them back to a 15-11 scoreline but The Working Men couldn’t do enough work to win this map and it finishes 16-11 to Orgless on Cobble.

Going into map two, we saw an even more dominating terrorist side coming from RattlesnK’s crew with the scoreline finishing with PT Pushing the team to the scoreline of 13-2 and PT’s scoreline of 20+ kills on the first half of Cache. On the 2nd half, again we saw TWM get a few more rounds on the board when its just too late to bring it back and when you are facing off against a MIGHTYMAX and a PT on form like they were, it will be hard to construct a comeback with Orgless finishing out the game 16-7.

The next game we saw on stream was a matchup between the mixteam of Iconic.GG and Reason Gaming. Coming into the match, both of these teams are sitting at the bottom of the UK Masters scoreboard yet the matchup showed the best game, I would say, of the whole tournament. In game one, we saw an equal battle between the two teams with the slight favour going to Reason on their T side with the half finishing 8-7. Meanwhile, the next half wasn’t much different, with Iconic bringing it back to a point but Weber having a star performance and a total of 25 kills on cache meant that Reason pulled out the victory with a 16-13 scoreline.

The final map of this series was on Cobble and we saw a bigger lead between the two sides with the Terrorist side winning out once again, with Reason winning 10-5. Going into the next half, yet again, we saw Sheekey and crew pull it back on their Terrorist side but again, it wasn’t enough for Weber’s side and Reason get their first win in the UK Masters with a scoreline of 16-13.
