Ever since epic.SEVENTEEN sold out on Christmas Eve, there has been a buzz and excitement around the CS:GO community because it was incredibly difficult to tell who could come out on top and win the first LAN event of 2016. With teams such as Team Infused and CeX undergoing massive overhauls of their rosters since the collapse of the UK Scene in December (post insomnia56), it was always difficult to tell who could come out as winners for epic.LAN’s 17th event, hosted at Kettering Conference Centre.
We can now reveal that the recently announced official line up named BEASTS have managed to snag a spot at epic.SEVENTEEN after being on the waiting list for a little while. Despite the waiting list being incredibly large, it seems that some teams haven’t responded or have been unable to commit to the event which has meant that Neil “Neil_M” Murphy’s side will make it’s first official LAN appearance, after confirming their attendance through Twitter.
With currently 24 teams signed up, the potential prize pool if that figure remains the same will be set at £2,350 with first place walking away with £1,425 in their back pockets. However we do believe there are currently 2 – 3 more teams potentially sat who aren’t signed up on the tournament website and that figure could potentially increase if it manages to hit 29 teams. There will be incredibly fierce competition at this event so it should be an exciting weekend of UK Counter-Strike.
Here is BEASTS official roster line up:
Neil “nEiLZiNHo” Finlay
Josh “mole” Rowley
George “ZED” Bear
Phil “Whindanski“ Nicholas
Somprasert “s0m” Haddow
This means the team list for epic.SEVENTEEN looks something like this:

For full line ups you can head over to the epic.LAN Tournament website. We will be on site at Kettering Conference Centre for the duration of epic.SEVENTEEN providing you with lots of action, so make sure you stay tuned to UKCSGO.com over the next few weeks to keep you up to date.
EDIT: While great news, the second paragraph of this article about BEASTS attending epic.SEVENTEEN is a complete fabrication created by incomplete information as to who Neil “Neil_M” Murphy as assigning his 5 tickets to. Since releasing this article we have found out that it will in fact be a mix team, rather than his newly announced BEASTS lineup.
As far as we know Neil “Neil_M” Murphy’s lineup for the event will be:
Neil “Neil_M” Murphy
Josh “mole” Rowley
Phil “Whindanski“ Nicholas
Somprasert “s0m” Haddow
Connor “Sliggy” Bloomfield
But that is yet to be confirmed…
