UK’s next big thing? Neil_M returns with new team – BEASTS

by Archive

A new amalgamation of top UK players is about to hit our scenes, with the passionate coach, Neil “NeiL_M” Murphy, standing firmly behind them. Neil has a great track record with the lineups he chooses to coach, managing to get the most out of his players and push them to the upper limits of each player’s skill. We welcome Team BEASTS.

He find himself reunited with George “ZED” Bear from a previous Team Infused lineup, along with a collection of some of the best unsigned UK players. They are competing in Cevo Main at the moment under the BEASTS tag, racking up their first win against Granted – 16-4. While BEASTS used to be a top organisation, they are no longer active, Neil and his team are just using the name while they search for a permanent home.

After taking a substantial break I feel refreshed and motivated again to play properly for the first time since probably the start of CS:GO where UK teams in general had some promising teams and results. Unfortunately UK CS has become a bit of a laughing stock but we definitely have the individual skill to compete, it is the ego’s and quite frankly absurd sense of entitlement that the older generation of UK CS players have and this is something I want to eradicate and properly practice and prepare from the ground up.

I’ve linked up with players who I have had success with before in Whindanski, ZED and s0m, we will also be bringing in mole who last played with EZSkins at DH Open. We will be competing in CEVO Main, UK EPS and quite frankly any EU tournaments that pop up. Hopefully people can start to support UK CS again and with teams like fm-eSports showing some promising results already we can help revitalise it in 2016 with a fresh outlook and the realisation that we need to start from the bottom and work our way up.

We are looking for a organisation that will support us over 2016 and you can contact our coach/manager at [email protected]

Neil “nEiLZiNHo” Finlay

This should be an exciting team to watch, and one that should most likely morph into the place that EZSKINS vacated when their project fell apart at the end of last year as the UK’s super team and hopefully provide good competition to the current top of the scene for teams like Nerdrage and FM to compete against. We’ll look on at how Team BEASTS progresses in the coming months.
